With a deep passion for engineering design and practical problem solving, she has developed a strong expertise in steam system design, equipment selection, and the technical challenges that engineers and facility managers face in the field. In her role as Sales Engineer at Fulton, Celia works to help clients identify and implement the right steam solutions for their specific applications. With a focus on bridging the gap between rigorous engineering principles and cost-effective solutions, she is dedicated to educating stakeholders on steam system fundamentals and delivering results in the field. Celia holds a degree in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University.
Presentation Description: This presentation provides a foundational overview of steam boiler fundamentals for engineers and facility professionals working with steam systems. Topics include common boiler types, key industry terminology, proper boiler sizing principles, and typical steam applications across commercial and industrial settings. The presentation also covers the critical components of a complete steam system, including near-boiler piping, feedwater and condensate return systems, blowdown equipment, and water treatment considerations giving a practical understanding of how these systems work together for safe and efficient operation.
